I got up about 8:45 and took a shower before having breakfast. I had media lunas, tostadas with dulce de leche, and two cups of hot chocolate. I also had some grapes. Fani gave me two caramels with chocolate inside for the trip. I packed up my last minute stuff and spent some time on the computer. Fani left to run an errand, but she said goodbye to me before she left because I would be gone when she returned. I left for class with my backpack full of clothes and my brown purse (actually my mom´s) at noon. On the way to class, I realized that I had forgotten my extra memory card for my camera. I was disappointed, but not enough to go back and be late to class for it. I will just have to limit myself to 528 pictures. It may be hard, but I believe that I can do it! It was a really, really foggy day in B.A. I took some pictures from our classroom. Our class is made up of two students who are here studying independently (not with a program), three students from CEA, and 12 students from ISA. All the ISA and CEA students had to leave at 5 to get to the bus station. We left class and walked to the ISA office where we met up with the other students and Gustavo. We had to take the subte (subway) to the bus station to get our bus. It was scary taking the subte with so much stuff to watch. People steal stuff all the time on the subte. It was really crowded, hot, and claustrophobic in there. We had to ride almost an hour on two different lines. We finally made it to our subway stop and had to walk in the dark to the bus station. I followed right behind Gustavo because I was afraid of getting separated from the group. There was a big Boca (a soccer team in B.A.) game that night and so all the crazy drunk fans were out. We finally made it to the station and waited for everyone to get there. We got on our bus. It was a double-decker really nice bus. I sat up top next to Will. We were really hungry. They were going to feed us dinner and breakfast, just like an airplane. We left at 7pm and they fed us dinner about 9 or so. In between that time, we watched a video in Spanish about growing mate and one about making sandwiches. Then they switched it to American music videos from the 80´s. They were pretty strange. Will said that watching them was more of a culture shock than coming to Argentina and I had to agree. We finally got our dinner. On the video at the beginning of the trip, they had said that we would get dessert. However, we had a little pear on our tray and I was afraid that that was our postre (dessert). Will and I were really disappointed, but then the man brought around these tiny cookies about as big as a quarter. They were good, but we only got one and I could have eaten about 12! Will and I worked on our Spanish homework, but they turned out the main lights, so we were using our little lights when they shut those off, too. There was a movie playing, but I had missed the beginning and I decided to try to sleep. It was about 10:30pm. I had a hard time getting comfortable even though the seats were amazing. The seatbelt was way too big and I kept sliding down the footrest. I must have looked hilarious.
